Shot in the dark...

And if this is the wrong place to ask this, let me know.

In the past, when new models of cars come out, there are sometimes tuning shops that give discounts for letting them use your car to test fitting, performance, etc of newly developed performance parts.

Does anybody know of any Mini specific shops in the DFW area that do this?

Specifically, I'd like to look into exhaust and intake, as well as ECU tuning for my new F56 Justa. I think the sound of the 3 cylinder is very cool, but could be made much better and obviously there aren't a lot of choice out there yet (or any, that I could find).

Just thought I'd ask.

Motor on!

Just a thought
Why go for a discount
Get them to load up your MINI with everything they have for testing
Let them run the ba-geezers out of it
Then return it to you with all the add-ons for FREE
makes sense to me, when trolling for discounts, always let out a little more line and go for broke
If I was a shop owner, I'd give you free cool sounding pipes for say 3 months of testing YOUR car around a track and out with my buddy's on Saturdays

Good Luck

The thought of any shop having my MINI for months of fitting/testing/tracking makes me shutter. LOL.

Yes
Wouldn't that be a hoot.
But your NOT thinking outside the box........
Either a huge discount, or the possibility of free parts.
Just think of the rapore you would have with the tuneing shops.
