It would be a different part number, but I would be happy to exchange with you if you determine any adjustment to be necessary. Go ahead and give it a shot first when it arrives, and if you want to exchange just email or call us and we will take care of you.

For the record, that is true for anything we have ever made; if you are not happy with a part we made, let us know and we will fix it!

Thanks for the photos. I much prefer the second style that doesn't overhang the fog lamp. For ordering purposes, what is the part number?

The new plates that offset to the side are being made right now. We'll need a few more days for them to get painted. If you want to order one up, we only made 50 for now, then use the coupon code F56OFFSET for 5% off and we'll send you the adjusted plate as soon they are ready to go.

Kellen,

Is it a different part number? I looked and only one part number exists for the F56.

Mine did, unmounted and in the boot.

Be sure to talk to your MA well before you take delivery. Some dealers will put them on during prep in a front plate state so they can't be seen as complicit if the customer doesn't mount a front plate. My last car came with it already mounted and a dealer name plate in the frame.

And when you do take delivery make sure you get one even if you do to plan on using it. If/when I sell the car it'll help to have it.

Here are pics of just the front plate holder that came with mine (was also in my trunk when I got the car).

I agree Marco, the current Platypus position is good. It also avoids some of the optional items that MINI can put up front, so it is really a great compromise.

Nevertheless, we are still making an offset plate for anyone who would like to move it over to the middle a touch. Just use the code 'F56OFFSET' so we know you want to get the new configuration as soon as it is available.

I ordered the Go Mini Go. It's fully adjustable, and offset so that it doesn't cover the fog light.

Thank you..
I actually placed my order with Cravenspeed. They have made a new one for the F56 that sits further over. It wont cover the fog light.

This may be a one off question but can anybody get a pic of the craven mount WITH the driving lights on the f56. I feel that it will look very awkward.

Absolutely.

I prefer (I am Adam at Craven, but still) our design over some of the others on the market for the full frame backing, black powder coat, and built in hardware. The plate frame having hardware built in makes things easier, and for me the devil is in the details.

Alongside Kellen, I'm happy to answer any questions or address concerns anyone may have. I love a good Q and A

Oops. Sorry Adam I Should have been more specific. I mean the aftermarket driving lights. The ones that get mounted to the front grill. I have my VO coming with those driving lights being installed at the dealership. It looks like the plate mount may get quite close to those as the are mounted very close to that location.

You can order it through our website, you can ONLY order the version that does not block the fog light.
