I also see where leases through MINI Financial Services are eligible for a $500.00 lease credit. I have to talk to my dealer about that.
Not true. It's for any model, according to the MINI site. But...

This. Not all dealers participate. Which is what I was saying earlier. My issue at the moment is that the dang USAA car buying site won't tell me what the closest participating dealer is, because apparently they assume that people are not willing to travel to get the car they *really* want. That annoys me, but I imagine that the "local" (relatively speaking) dealer will probably honor the USAA deal.

If you're a member of AAA they have a car buying service also. It got me $1750 off MSRP.

I wish it were true that ALL 2014 models are eligible to get the $1,000. incentive discount. The 2014 MINI Hardtop gets $500.00. Go to USAA.com and there you will the following. "* Incentive program includes MINI Cooper, MINI Cooper S and MINI John Cooper Works trim levels on all 2013 and eligible 2014 models." Click on View Offers and it shows that ONLY the 2013-2014 Countryman and 2013-2014 Paceman get the $1,000. incentive discount. Other models get a $500.00 discount, including the 2014 Hardtop.

For further clarification, please call USAA.
