For me a very early 2015 model would be preferable to a 2014, so I asked my MA to contact me the first day 2015's are available for order.

My recollection from several years ago is that Mini is relatively late to open the ordering process for the next model year. But what's Mini done lately? Does the factory close in August and then resume in Sept. with the new model year? What's the speculation as to first ordering date for the 2015 model F56?

 

I think dealers usually get their allocations 5 to 6 weeks in advance of a build month.

 

They usually quite building this year's models around the end of July early August I think.

 

I read somewhere production of 2014 ends in June.
