I wanted to kick this idea off a few, and who better than the MINI enthusiasts…

I am in sales at a MINI dealer…and I will be the first to say that these new hardtops are absolutely stunning. BMW and MINI really created something impressive here, and it is definitely a sign of things to come for MINI. The new twin power motors are nothing short of exciting, and the torque output you get from the new 3 banger is thrilling. I can't say enough how brilliant these new MINIs are..

So naturally, being the crazy MINI geek I am, I instantly started thinking of ways to extract more power out of these new to MINIs. The TwinPower technology has been around a few years, but the new 3 cylinder especially is just screaming for some tuning.

So getting to my point, who out there is interested in performance tuning for the new F56? Dumb question I bet, I am sure I will get YES all across the board..but I am seriously looking to dive in to this a bit more and garner some real interest. In time, R&D with all of the MINI specialized tuners out there will find solutions, this I know. But I am looking for a leg up here to get the ball rolling on this new beast. My idea is to start simple, with bolt on mods of course..then see where that all takes me. It will take some time for these to start hitting the roads (christ, we have received 5 already in the past week and can't even sell them yet until our launch event I am being told), but there is nothing wrong with some preliminary thinking and good feedback, right?
