The May car magazines are arriving and those superficial road tests we read online weeks ago were held until these issues. Motor Trend, Automobile and this week's Autoweek all include them. Ought to put more pressure on that Oxford plant.

I am looking forward to the more extensive road tests these magazines will do in the upcoming months. Of course, by then I'll have several thousand miles on my MCS.

R&T arrived today 4/3/14, but nothing really new. Car & Driver, I get one from a friend, probably arrived about now. Still looking for those magazines to do their typical type of serious testing.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. I just got my May issue of Motor Trend and hadn't had a chance to jump into it. Sure enough, a nice "starter" article on page 28. Guess I'll have to save this one. Next up.......

Right, and that issue of CAR also has a brief review of the BMW M235i and the new, upcoming BMW i8, plus a not-so-great set of comments on the BMW 435i Vert (which is basically an overweight cruiser for those who wish to be seen as "neat" ppl). Overall, a great issue of CAR for all MINI/BMW lovers.
