how many speakers is the standard stereo and how many watts is it?

I see that the HK system has a tweeter and midrange in the middle of the dash.

Where would the speakers on the standard stereo be?

Thanks

SO glad I got this, it was a massive improvement in the R56 and it sounds like it's even better in the F56.

I wonder what the stock setup consists of? 5 mid-range speakers and that's it?

from the diagram, if the stock set up also has speakers in the middle of the dash, i am guessing there is 3 tweeters and 5 midrange speakers? can someone confirm that?

In the Justa, standard stereo, I test drove, no sound came from the grill in the center of the dash. My MA verified no center dash speakers in the standard stereo.

Thanks, so seems two midrange speakers by the doors and then 2 tweeters and 2 mid range speakers by the rear passenger side panels.

How was the sound quality?

Seemed ok, but it was just FM radio. It played loud enough, but it was hard to judge fidelity. Your numbers add up to the 6 speakers listed as available with the standard stereo.

I just need to stay away from those with it installed so I don't see what I'm missing.

I understand the stock radio has a USB port
Does that allow you to connect an Ipod?

No CD dash player in either the Cooper or MCS. You can get the hidden 6 CD changer in the secret compartment as an option.
