Full Retail Price?

For those who have ordered, can I expect to pay full retail price for the car or is there any wiggle room?

I would say your going to pay full retail price.. You might get a little wiggle room but I wouldn't expect much if any!

You'll be lucky to get $250 - $500 of loyalty credit if you're a return buyer. If not, MSRP!

I'll bet you'll pay less for the car you ordered than someone who wants to buy a car from the dealer's stock.

I am a brand new Mini customer and ordered a new MCS and got $2,000 off by shopping around. Thankfully I have many Mini dealers near me (but everything was done via phone and email until I picked the dealer I went with). MSRP for my build is $34,645 and they are selling it to me for $32,645.

Excellent deal, Steven. You are definitely the exception and not the rule. I got a $500.00 discount.

I got a $2k discount for one off the lot vs ordering (2011MCS). Probably varies by time of year and how hungry the dealer is.

Hmmm, the dealer here says he won't even have the first of them until mid-April.

That is about right. I know my own dealer won't have his allocation until early April at the earliest.

Check MINIUSA.COM for offers on the year/model you are interested in. I got $1100 in incentives last November on my 2014 Roadster S and it is now higher. At my dealership if you don't do your homework and ask for the specific available incentives they don't offer them.

Doubtful that there are going to be any incentives on the new F56. A 2014 Roadster, Clubman, Paceman, sure. But not the 2014 MINI S Hardtop. Brand new model and they should sell very well, even at MSRP.

So don't check. Then you won't see the three incentives available on all models.

Enter your zipcode.

There are various offers based on model and year (2013 and 2014)
mostly for financing or lease but also for USAA members and for loyalty $500 discount.

You can also check if your dealership works with Costco Auto program.

Are the 2014 models those excluding the new Mini Hardtop?

Gotcha. Was thinking we were only talking about financing offers, in which case do not exist yet for the 2014 hardtop (besides standard non special rates)

For those of you who have access to USAA, they are offering a killer deal through the "car buying service" right now.

I got over $2000 off MSRP on a BASE 2014. It also comes with a 0.59% interest rate.

I haven't made my order yet but USAA is claiming the dealer has to honor that pricing. There is an incentive out there for $500 off for USAA members but this is obviously a better deal.

This is real and I've got to thank you. I was getting the "MSRP shuffle" but just went to USAA. A quick run through the configurator for a MCS Hardtop netted a $1400.00 break off MSRP! I'll refine that against the build document I got from MiniUSA to make sure I'm apples to apples. Nearest approved is a dealer in Atlanta (3hr drive) but if my local dealer (1hr drive) won't move then it's worth the trip.

Again thanks for bringing that one to light.

I'm a USAA member as well and configured a $2000 discount, but the nearest dealer offering this is 95 miles away. My nearest dealer is 45 miles away. What I may do is print off the discount and take it to the closer dealer and see what they can do. I've bought 2 MINI's from them so I'm hoping they will deal, but I'm willing to drive an additional 50 miles for $500.

What's involved in becoming a USAA member, do you have to buy insurance from them? Sounds like Costco isn't doing the F56 until dealers start getting them.
