EBC GD series rotors not fitting over hub.

Hey guys,

Recently got a new EBC rear brake kit. Slotted rotors, yellow stuff, the whole kit. Was pretty stoked to try them on. Just to realize they don't fit over my hubs. Just barely, but still not way they fit.

I thought that maybe some of you might have tried it, or had any thoughts. Everything I found said it was compatible. Even EBC's part finder.

I have a 2015 Cooper S 5 doors, and this is the kit I got: EBC Brakes S5KR1724 (EBC Brakes S5KR1724 - Rear Stage 5 Yellowstuff Pad And GD Series Rotor Kit).

Edit: Adding some details, hub measures 66.6mm and ID of brake rotor measures 64.3mm.

There is no mention on your link that these fit a F55 only F56

They have since removed the mention of compatibility, following this incident. At least that's a good thing.

EBC still has it as fitting in their online catalog, and AFAIK, F56 also uses a 66mm center bore, which can also be seen in Zimmerman tech drawing for its F56 rotors. Meaning the 64mm EBC wouldn't fit these either.
