F56 crank pulley failure

Hi All. I was driving and had a battery not charging alarm shortly followed by an engine temp alarm. Found that the belt was in place but not spinning. Pulled the inner guard out to look at the crank pulley, started the car and the inner part of the pulley was spinning and the outer part including the belt does not spin. Is this fair evidence that the pulley is faulty? Also, I can spin the outer of the pulley which includes the belt, quite freely. So I assume none of the belt equipment is putting undue strain on the pulley.
what actually gives way in the pulley? It doesn’t look like an old school pulley with a fair bit of rubber within it….

I would say that you have found your failure point. It looks like the rubber isolator ring on this particular harmonic balancer is just not as visible as the ones we are used to seeing. I am thinking it's somewhere behind those 5 elongated slots, hiding inside the assembly itself.
