F56 2016 Mini 3 Cyl - high pitched noise on hot start
Hello everyone,
a couple of months ago i bought a used 2016 Mini Cooper F56, 3-cyl 1.5L petrol.
30k miles (~48k km) on the clock.
I have noticed an odd high pitched sound that i have no idea what it might be. Something loose? Just a high pressure build-up?
Attaching a video below. It's always two high pitched pulses / bangs just when the engine 'comes to life'. It ONLY happens on hot start when the engine is already at its working temperature. No such sound on cold start.
What do you think? Is that normal? Or is that something to worry about?
