Puddle lights stopped working
So mysteriously, my door puddle lights have stopped working. Not sure when it stopped. Has anyone else seen this happen? Sat in the car for an hour flipping switches and buttons to no avail.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I picked up some standard LED ones off of Amazon. What I was really hunting is some that project the JCW logo, which I had purchased originally. So these aftermarket Amazon specials are tiding me over until I can find some more JCW projection ones.
Hi all,
I recently acquired a 2008 base model. The passenger side courtesy lamp / puddle light doesn't light. The Driver side is ok. I pulled the cover on the passenger side, the bulb and cover look like new. I guess this is because it may have never, ever been used. There doesn't seem to be a wire in the cavity of the door panel.
I'm planning to use a scope to see inside the cavity, in the near future.
But just to same me some grief, is there any chance that they early model R55 only has the wiring on the driver side, and you have to upgrade to have the light functional on the passenger side? I know this sounds super frugal, but the way the hand brake switch is wired wouldn't surprise me that this might be the case...
If not included in the base model, is there a retrofit kit with a wire harness available. I'm not sure this is the type of car that is forgiving when you hack up the harness and splice in stuff. So much for buying the projector lamps...
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Update:
I found the wire in the cavity using a scope and connected it up. Problem solved.
No idea if the car was like this all these years or was a victim of a door panel removal/replacement error.
