2016 f55 avg 16mpg

I Purchased this car preowned a few months ago and I do not drive too much, I never paid mind to MPG. About a week ago, I looked through the trip computer and saw that I was averaging 18MPG so I reset the computer and did my daily city driving to see what would happen. In sport mode (my go to) I am averaging 15MPG. In "normal" I can get as good as 18-20MPG and in "green" the best I've seen is 23MPG. The car drives great, no apparent misfire and only has 20k miles. Air filter was replaced and made no change, any thoughts before taking to dealer?

Car has salvaged title so dealer visit is not ideal as there is no warranty but this mileage cannot be normal.

Flood salvage by any chance? If so, I would guess that the electronics are damaged. Measure your mileage the old fashioned way by tracking how much fuel you used and how many miles you have driven. The trip computer's accuracy can vary quite a bit from reality.

besides the horn and mileage issues, I absolutely love this car and I can’t blame the car much considering what the poor girl has been through
