Drivetrain Malfunction Error

I was on a nice Saturday drive in the hills around Jerusalem today and suddenly got the "drivetrain malfunction error". It came on as I hit a quick and steep uphill curve and had to downshift into 2nd to get over the hump.

As soon as I was able, I pulled off the road and let the car sit for about 10 minutes but still had the error upon startup. So I turned around to head back home. As soon as I got on the highway, the error icon disappeared. I've been home for a few hours, and started it back up - no error.

Should I head to the garage ASAP, or wait for my next scheduled checkup - in about 4k kms?

Thanks.

I would take it in, they can still pull the code up on their computer if the car threw it.
