has anyone changed their battery in a 2015 mini cooper s. i was going to put my braille liteweight battery in my f56 and couldnt figure out how to remove my battery. there was a 1/2 bolt in back under the master cylinder i couldnt get to maybe that was the problem. thanks.

 

The battery placement of the F56's is a complete nightmare. In order to remove/replace it, you have to remove the airbox, front battery cover, top battery cover, left cowl panel and move the wiring out of the way.

 

it took me several attemtps before i found the hidden front cover bolt.
