The description says that they resealed body seams and replaced the rear hatch seal. It had to sit overnight for the polyurethane to dry. Now to wait for the next heavy rain,,,,
Just had to take my 2018 MCS Seven Edition to the dealer because I found 2 inches of water in the bottom. Both the boot seal and a seal on one taillight had to be replaced. You would think with the amount of money these cost the assembly level would be top notch.

SI M64 01 17 FOUL, MUSTY ODOR FROM HVAC: WET FOOTWELL CARPET

This is a must have for anyone if you are using AC. Update to the car's firmware is involved. My car is 2015 Hardtop F56, picked up November 2014, so it was right at the end of the warranty period.
The most significant benefit from this update is that the car runs the fan for about 2 minutes after the car has been shut down if you were using AC.

I only noticed this behavior when I had a 2018 F54 loaner and saw that they are addressing the AC smell issue with this. Just before my 4 year warranty ends, I got my car in and talked for a while with the foreman about the AC stink (it was really stinking even though I try really hard to keep it dry), all the rattles that I pointed out, and to fix a thread they stripped on the under body panel during the free 3 year service. I got very good service, they sealed up most of the rattle noise, upgraded the firmware so my car also does the extra venting after AC has been running.

Sure enough, I checked under the mat of the passenger side floor and it was sop and wet. Back to the dealership it goes.... again.

Wondering now if they sold me a lemon. I might have to investigate my options.

Had it checked out by Flow Mini of Raleigh. They could not find anything wrong with the HVAC so I have no clue where the water came from. I will monitor.

It would be nice if this thread was just a "master list" and not commentary on the diagnosis and repairs. You would be better off starting a new thread for repair/diagnosis of your issues.

Car has been to the dealer twice in the last 400 miles for CEL and running rough. First time they said it was running lean, this time running rich. On the paperwork they show a TSB of SI M11 01 17. No explanation as to what it it.

You’re right, it’s a downshift issue.

I made my annual service appointment and I was asked if I also wanted Mini to perform the same safety recall M120617. I didn't get any notice in the mail, though. I have a 2015 F56 Mini Cooper S. If you've had yours done, could you let me know what it entails? My appointment is on 5/14/19. Thanks

BMW/MINI has "internal" recalls. Where it is done at the time of service.
As opposed to a "safety" recall mandated by the government, whereas you would get a letter.

Just called my local Mini dealer. it is no wonder no one wants to own a Mini. They NEVER want to do warranty work.
The wet carpet issue is something they deny exists. I quoted the number M64 01 17 and the girl just ducked and ran. She said there is no such campaign. If they do not fix this I will dump this unit and be done with Mini forever.

Another service writer called me back. I dropped my car off Monday afternoon. They said it was a pinched drain tube. It will be fixed early next week.

I found this website is a good source for Technical Service Bulletins. You can even download a copy of the bulletin:
