F54 Restart the head unit
Restart the head unit
Hello everyone.
I flashed ID4 to ID6, activated Carplay, and touched a lot of clubmen.
The procedure that often comes up is "press and hold the power button to restart the head unit", but my clubman does not restart even if I press and hold the power button.
How about your head units such as Clubman and F56?
The reason why it doesn't restart is because of the Japanese specification, can it be coded so that it can be restarted? I think so.

Headunit reboot with the power/volume button doesn't work on Mini software , only on BMW software.
you can only reboot the headunit by either a diagnostic tool / software or by disconnecting the battery terminal for few seconds.
Offcourse I have a trick to reboot the headunit without the need of any solutions mentioned above , but I'm willing to share it only with members who usually share with other members.

Ah, that's right after all. Thank you for letting me know!Thank you very much! Flashing from ID4 to ID6, the ON/OFF of the screen is unstable. I wanted to restart at that time because the screen was dark when I started riding. . . Maybe the coding is wrong in the first place, I'll take a look at various things!
