Rear Split Door Handle Replacement?

I've looked and looked and looked for weeks now on how to remove the orginal handles to replace them with custom plated ones I have, but so far no luck. Can someone help me out?

Hello,

Here are the blackline Genuine MINI ones for example.

You can see two screws and you will have to take the door inside panel to replace.

Those are torw screws, you will need a torx set . https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...et/hbs-m9pcst/

Then you will have to Ignore the red arrow, but look above it and you will see a circular rubber plug on the inside jam to access one of the screws and the other is behind that window wiper motor. Then just plug the new one in and bolt up.

Get a trim tool kit so you dont beat up the inside panel.

Inside Barn door Panel diagram : https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_3811

Number one and number two panels can come off, might be too hard with just the number sixes removed.

What it looks like on the body metal side outside stamped metal barn doors.. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=41_2565
