We picked up our F54 before finding out we were going to have our second daughter. With the 4 of us in there it can be a little cramped with 2 child seats. I'm considering looking for a slightly larger wagon and am looking at e91s. Just wanted to know if the rear seat would give the girls a little more room. I know the countryman has some extra room back there but I really don't want another SUV as we already have a CR-V.

 

i've owned a couple of e90's and e87 still have two e87's one with a n52 and one with a n54

The sedans and wagons have pretty good back seat room imo they are the size of 5 series from the 2000s

 

compared to the e90, would you say the rear is about the same or slightly larger then the F54?

 

All depends how old the kids are and what kind and stage of car seat they are in. Our X1 is much less practical and car seat friendly than the clubman. Less room up front with the seats installed and the angle of the backseat is the worst...

you can read a review on the BMW wagon here. Nice car if you can find one. Since the wagon is discontinued they command a premium.
