F54 DCC present?
DCC present?
Sorry to ask a basic question, but on a 2017 clubman S, with drive mode selector ring, I am assuming that there is DCC present? Or is that a stand-alone option? I’m trying to figure out what the differences are and what it actually does. If present, can it be activated with mid mode or just sport? Thank you in advance.
http://bimmer.work will decode your vin and tell you what you have. DDC stiffens up the suspension and can be on or off in sport mode on my 2014 F56S.
Configuring DDC in Sport Mode
If you have Dynamic Damper Control (DDC) you should certainly be able to feel the difference between Sport and Mid - on long drives, Sport tends to get uncomfortable as you feel every irregularity in the road. You should also be able to configure DDC on settings for Sport (Sport for Drivetrain & Chassis, just Drivetrain or just Chassis (dampers hard). See photo above. Other Clubman owners I know opted for the Sport suspension and regret not having the option of a more compliant ride as needed.

Standard/options present
Standard equipment found on my car build.
Options found on my car build.
Continue with options
I took Minnie.the.moocher’s advice and tried to decipher the standard equipment and options on my car build from the web site provided. So here are some questions that I have, maybe someone can explain them.
-Not too sure what cold/hot climate version is as i don’t have heated seats.
-performance control?
-lights package?
-selection cop relevant vehicles???
-comfort access package?
-mini excitement?
i don’t see anything with DCC on it, so maybe I don’t have it? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
