clubman locked rear door opening on its own
this is a 2017 car. Just got it two weeks ago and it seems to be in great shape over all. 3 times in last week I have gone out to driveway and found car door open. the car is locked and this is not area with any foot travel or wandering people. Hmmm do I need a chain and lock? :-)

You need a software update that makes it so that the button on the keyfob won't open the rear doors if the locks are activated. Talk to your local dealer.
I find this SO SO SO annoying. I don't lock the car in my (locked) garage, so the software fix doesn't help me. I can't tell you how many times I have walked out to the garage and opened the garage door (on autopilot), only to hear the Clubman's rear door scraping along the rolling garage door.

Neighbor called my wife earlier this week to tell us the rear doors were wide open. Clubman was parked behind our garage. We're still trying to decide if it was the fob that had worked its way to the bottom of my wife's purse and had a ton of stuff pressing on it, or if it was the fob in my jeans that got pressed when I bent down to pick up some leaves.
Not only were both rear doors open, with the interior lights on, but the entire car was unlocked and, worst of all, my side mirrors had unfolded.
