F54 Clubman Boot Protection

Clubman Boot Protection
Wife just got a 2019 Clubman S that didn't have the factory storage option. As many know, this includes the "shelf" that levels out the rear cargo area.
Does anyone know of a solution to either purchase this rear "shelf" or a cargo liner that will fit the space without the "shelf" in place?

You can buy the false floor shelf, but it's designed to work with special side trim panels, and a full retrofit gets pricey. You would need to order the #6 and #7 assemblies from this parts diagram: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_3810
Then you can drop in the false floor panel: https://www.outmotoring.com/floor-ca...477360761.html
Or you could get creative. For my spouse's R60, which also came without the storage package, I bought the floor panel, and a sheet of nice plywood, and built a simple platform that it rests into:

Thank you for the reply. Looking at the boot, there is a 1.5" ledge on both sides and 1" ledge on the rear against the bumper. Would this not be enough for the false floor to sit on, or is the clubman false floor smaller than those dimension? I can't see to find a measurement for the false floor you provided in the link.

Interesting, didn't know they had an option NOT to have the false floor. I would think you could get a false floor panel without having to change out the side trim panels, without them you wouldn't be able to latch the floor up if that is important to ya. Since the factory floor panel sits on that rim, I don't see why you couldn't make one to sit on it. It would just need to be stiff enough to not sag across the span.
Here is the schematic of the OEM parts that you would need to look at:

You may want to pay a visit to your local dealer to check out an F54 with the parts you may want to confirm what you would need to get, if you stay with factory parts rather than something custom made. Good luck.
