Backup Camera at Night

Just curious if others have this issue on their F54s. The backup camera is located right above the license plate. In this same area are two license plate lights that reflect off the backup camera lens can cause distortion. This makes backing into a spot difficult because white lines aren’t easily seen from all the haziness. Anyone have this issue? Do anything to easily fix it?

Mine looks just like yours in the Pic. not the best back up camera location IMHO. I trust my instincts/experience when I back into a spot .

No backup camera here (was optional in '16), but it'd probably be pretty easy to wire up a simple circuit that turned off the license plate lamps when the reverse lights are on.

Thanks for confirming I’m not the only one!

My clubman is leased so I’m not sure how much modification I can do. I was thinking more of a tint film on the license plate lights to reduce brightness and thus reduce the reflection of light of the lens. Easy to take off it it doesn’t work.
