Good Lord... B pillar/headliner buzz?
Wife says it's the rocks in my head lol... North Texas so roads are often of the infamous "chip 'n seal" variant. My 'll R55 had issues with the same kind of buzz and there's threads about it happening at certain temperatures because of the windows possibly vibrating in their holders...
New-to-me F56 and same damn noise right above my head. I *think it improves if I press up on the headliner above me which is the one that comes with the JCW interior package (anthracite)... Possibly some sort of deterioration in the headliner after the whopping 13,000 miles that it's been driven?
Looking for any suggestions please and thanks (other than turning up the music lol)...
Cheers.

Be sure to check to make sure the front passenger seat belt isn't bumping against anything. I took my Clubman to the dealer because I was sure either the headliner or the seat back had a rattle. Turns out is was the seat belt buckle knocking because it tends to twist when the passenger releases it and gets out.
Not saying that's your issue, but rule it out.
I agree with Moocher. Dealers are very good at sorting these things

I was having some weird rattling too. First I thought it was the speaker in my door, but then I felt like it was coming from behind the driver's left side air vent. I thought that maybe there was some kind of debris stuck in there somewhere, but the actual fan must be pretty far from the vent.
After I explained the sounds to the dealer, they concluded that my motor mount was cracked. They replaced it, free under warranty, and it's been good since then! The repair was done around 22K miles.
Check your motor mounts!
