I'm picking up my justa in a few days and I'd love to hear your experience with it!

Absolutely love it! Recently had a Clubman S loaner and I could not tell the difference in normal driveability. Got a great deal - a $28k car for $25,000. Super comfortable on long trips. Added note: the car came w 205/55/16 RFs meh. So I got a deal on a set of 225/40/18 non RFs on 18x7.5. Better ride, handling and fuel economy. Big enough to be totally practilcal but small enough to be fun. Did I say I love it?

And if, after a thousand miles or so of break-in, you feel the need for a bit more speed, sport tuning boxes will add an entire other dimension for a few hundred bucks.

Congratulations -- and make sure you get all of the available incentives for August$$$

I bought my base model Cooper in December of 2007. I have changed the oil and filter every 3,000 miles. Today, it has 211,450 miles on it. Replaced? Water pump, brake pads, valve cover gasket, thermostat housing, coolant, plugs a few times and the hood release cable. That's it..no real issues. It burns a quart of oil between changes.

I've got 8000 miles on my F55 (4 door) justa and love it. Plenty sporty and most always gets 40+ mpg per tank of regular gas. The longer length of the F55, compared to the F56 allows bags of golf clubs to go in nicely-I'm sure the Clubman is longer too, no?

yep! I've heard the F54 and F55 are pretty much exactly the same - the F54 just has more space. I think.

Read the Power Up thread in 3rd gen JCW section.

There are other threads around as well.

Did a mountain tour and there was a Gen1 Justa in with our group. I was amazed at how well the car handled along with the fact that the car was keeping up with the group in some very spirited driving. At dinner got talking to the couple and found out he was the "Stig" for Nascar. We were talking and when he said what he did, I came back with the Stig. He looked at me like I was crazy but when I told him about the guy in the white helmet and British show, he knew what I was talking about.

Goes to show you what some would consider a mere Justa can do in the hands or a person that knows how to drive a car.

@r53coop
That's so cool! What does the Stig for nascar do - just test cars around the track?

And yeah I've been doing some spirited driving in the past couple of days, and even though it only has 130 or so HP, it feels a hell of a lot faster. I've been getting 13 MPG average though hah

@2017All4
Will do. Thank you!

The guy said when you see a closeup of a car but cannot see the driver in a commercial he is driving the car.
