F54 Retrofit illuminated door trim

Retrofit illuminated door trim

Anyone knows if the illuminated front door trim is retrofittable without replacing the entire front door trim assembly?

May be possible. On the F56/55 the wiring for the illuminated door trim lights is already present and the lighted trim can be retrofitted. I haven't dug into the F54 parts diagrams but the front door isn't that much different so it may be equally simple. Learn more at this thread:

Thank you. I believe the F54 is different because it's the actual trim that lights up and not an additional LED strip under the trim like in the F56. I also couldn't find part numbers for the door trim pieces regardless if illuminated or not, only complete door panels, so looks like they are not removable from the door panels.
