Question BDC programming

Working on my sister's F54 S All 4. Lighting issue, the rear tail lights/turn signals/brake lights don't function correctly. Took the car to a local shop, they told me the 'total control module' was bad, bring it to the dealer. I did a little looking around and there were several places listed on the internet who claim to 'repair' the BDC (Body Domain Controller), which is what this car actually has. But after removing and sending to the first place, they've informed me that it's 'unrepairable' - which doesn't mean it can't be fixed - just that they can't.

Can anyone recommend a module repair business? I really don't want to take it to the dealer. The module itself is readily available, but it's the programming that's the issue. There are several companies who claim to be able to repair, or if not repairable 'clone' to a used module - and modules are readily available, and reasonable. But when I contact them, they then tell me they don't work on them.

Thanks in advance -
