ABS Module Failure

ABS Module Failure
Trifecta of lights came on my 02 MC. Took it to the dealer and they said the ABS Module/Controller went bad and it will be 1800 to fix. Is this the normal cost for this repair? Is it DIY or are professional tools needed? Thanks.
