Are there significant differences in engine reliability and common problems for the Clubman base 3 cylinder (134 hp) engine vs the 4 cylinder S (189 HP?) engine in the S model? Thanks in advance for relevant information.

 

Both are pretty good compared to the older engines.

Newer ones seem to be ok. You ill get more mods and power options with the B48/B46, four cylinder.
