I think that will change when she drives it. I can't even imagine the cost of getting a small block in that car. The firewall would definetly have to move....

How do you like that turbo Pepper? I have yet to drive one.

Hello!!
I just ordered today the Alta 2.0 17% pulley and the smaller belt. My only concern will be; how to remove the old one. I know I have to use 2 longer bolts, but how do I remove the old hub from the supercharger shaft? Henry

What type of pulley is on there now? Most of the two piece pulleys have should easily come off.

Right, that is a two piece. I would think that you can take the screws out and gently tap it off. Probably going to be a pain in the backside....

Hi daflake!!
I contacted ALTA: Simply loosen and remove the four bolts that secure the outer to the inner. Then take one of the bolts and twist it into the holes that were not used to secure the two halves. That will then push the outer off the inner. Then simply slide the inner hub off.
Henry

Are you going to do a transfer, like they do with heart patients? Pull the old one out of yours, and put it right into another MCS needing a pulley?

And I found a video that shows how that new 17% will perform. Though, judging from the faces of the villagers, it might have been filmed last weekend in the Odenwald. The guy sure drives like Smiley, just with less drifting.

But I know I scared a couple of Villagers (accidently)

Nice video!!
If the 17% pulley will perform like that . Do you imagine what FlyingSmiley could do if he can install two 17% pulleys at the same time (34% Pulley)? Henry

I ordered the Alta 2.0 17%. Did you try a Mini with 15% to compare power difference? Henry

Overall, I am very happy with my 15% for now. I did order some of those STP's from M7... With the way I drive it is probably a good idea. Maybe a 17% upgrade in the future.

Hey, Smiley -- I thought you were aviation, not armor. Damn, man, you'll drift anything, won't you?

(Bet that thing has the 34% pulley on it, though)
