Pulley tool...

Does anyone in Germany have the tools to complete a pulley install? I would also like to ask how hard it is to accomplish an install.

... and since Abu and RudyT are across the ocean, there's a good chance a pulley swap could be performed without breaking something...

Spent 8 years at McChord... You're gonna love it there! If I don't get school next summer and most especially if I don't get promoted (board is next March), I'm pushing for the Division AMLO job there at Ft Lewis and will stay there until they force me to retire!

I'm ready to go and the Mini is getting shipped tomorrow. They have a race track near Seattle that I plan to visit. Well, stay safe and keep your head down.

Henry, We get back there pretty regularly (have a lot of friends there)... Will look you up when I'm in the area. We'll likely settle there when I retire as well.

Sorry for the thread hijack Matty!

Matty!
Greetings to all from WA. Did you installed the pulley? Do you remenber that I ask you about this guy that installed the twin turbo on his mini;Porcupine was his last name. I just want to know the outcome of that installation he was performing at the craft shop. Also, here in WA the fuel is very weak, my car is pingging like crazy at 4,000 rpms and I'm using chevron 92 octanes all the time and I have to add 2 bottles of octane boosters to reduce the ping. Take care.

Henry, I have not installed the pulley yet, But I have to do something. I absolutely hate the difference of power and TQ between the R52 and my R56. The R56 will be leaving the family soon as her warranty is about up.
Its amazing, but kinda sad.
Porcupal has not got his mini on the road, there was other issues (not car related) and I think it may have been a bit larger project than they expected. I will get a diffinetive answer, hell, maybe I can score some parts.
Im coming home to Oregon for a week, How is th NW treating you?

Hi Matty!
I do not know about Oregon; but here rain and rain and rain and so forth. We got so much snow that they closed Fort Lewis for 3 days, lots of black ice in the mornings. When is sunny it is beautiful. Hoping that Mount Saint Helen stay at sleep for a while. The BMW dealers here are good and take care of you. Maximum speed on the freeway 60 mph. Crazy people driving more than 70 mph and accidents daily around here, I have seeing cars upside down on the freeway, thanks God that they have speed limit around here. Police are all over the freeway so I keep my 60mph speed all the time, because 5mph over will cost you around 120.00 dlrs fine. So far ticket free!

Henry
