Looks like y'all had a great time! I know I did.

 

Sadly... We are home. I'm still working on relearning how to drive in the U.S. I am staying away from driving the classic because I would definitely have problems staying on the correct side of the road. Tomorrow- unpacking and figuring what did I actually buy? That and getting my mirror caps installed (and picking up my comic books). Sue and I had a great time let's hope for something just as wonderful for MTTS 2010 and MINI United 2011 (I'm already saving up).

 

Glad to hear you made it home safely. It was good getting to meet you at MU. Hopefully we'll see you next year at MTTS!

 

Professor, I bet y'all had a great time over there in the EU. I can't wait to go back. I also will attempt to have my mirror caps and black jack side scuttles installed later this week. I will post images when I do. Nice meeting y'all and will talk atcha later.

 

Rob, sorry I missed this post earlier. Hope you like the swag; that was about as good as all of it got. Frankly, buying the swag was the only disappointing part of the whole trip, really. There were so many "business opportunities", aka other ways to get your money, that MINI missed out on as they could've had so much better swag all around. There were few MU09 specific loots; most was typical MINI/BMW stuff. What was cool was the MINI Associates in the swag area would bring it to you, while you stood in the line. Thus, my one hour wait was interesting as the Spaniards in front of me kept seeing new stuff to buy. Eventually, it seemd like they'd bought one of everything!

In any case, I'm glad you got your swag. I've been busy lately dealing with my 06R53 being stolen, so I'll check in now and then. Guess I won't be hitting you up for some 'Ring laps for a while!

OMG poppa bear!! That just sucks!! Hopefully you will get the answers and/or solace that you need. You met me and my husband, AZMINIMAN, on the bus for our MINI factory tour at MU, talking about the love for our cars, of course!

Azminiman, not pics! Also, we just left the dealership here in Scottsdale and saw your Clubbie there. That was a great idea of putting the clear coat material on your new mirror caps. I should have done the same. I just got my caps and blackjack scuttles put on and tried to deal with Greg on a new S Clubbie or coupe. I kept my Clubbie and I am happy with the new look.
