We will get in touch with you somehow. We will be at the Addicts MINI tour at 11:30 am on Thursday. We will be having dinner and drinks with Sue & Julius Griffith on Thursday night, Towcester. Please join us if you can. Friday we will be going on the MINI USA dinner and pub-crawl leaving the Marriott at Northampton. Drop me an email or call me on skype. We are leaving SFO tomorrow at 12:21 will arrive Heathrow at 7:00am on Friday. Picking up the rental MINI on Saturday, will be on the London to Brighton Run at 6:00am on Sunday.

My son and I went to the MINI Addicts tour this morning and it was excellent!! Meet AZMiniman and crew, a couple from Australia, and two guys from Lithuania. In the parking lot were not one but TWO groups of MINIs from Russia. A couple of those guys had driven from St. Petersburg!! Pictures here. The only MINI swag was the AWESOME MINI United jacket!!



All the other loot has been moved over to Silverstone for tomorrow's enjoyment. Details to follow!

Still overwhelmed by the Factory Tour, and day one of MINI United. I'll be posting photos as soon as I have a chance to go through them... The MINIUSA event last night was great. and I have already been asked about selling the MINI 50 bag MINIUSA gave us. I agree the Russian MINI group is great, and what the Ukranians have done to their MINIs is just amazing. The big day is today and I'm already late!

 

HEEEELLLPP....I've been looking for 2 days now and haven't been able to find any MINIUSA'rs.....where's the group tent? Where are you all at? I haven't found anybody even from North America.....

I tried to post this before I left... Internet a little wonky at the cottage. MINIUSA is located in the Club/Community area (the one with all the GPs and JOhn Cooper Limited edition BRG) basicallt find the Irsih and turn left. THey are sharing a tent with Whiteroof Radio/Motoringfile. 11:30 AM we are meeting at the Challenge garges for a tour then Lunch with Mike Cooper.

What a great time... Teresa and I had a great honeymoon... We can not say enough on how awesome MINI USA was with this event for those who traveled there from the U.S. Every step of the way there was something new and exciting to be found...

 

And for us Canadians...the proud, the few! Thanks for letting us tag along. It was the event of a lifetime!

 

Just got home from MINI United! What a fantastic event! It was good meeting so many of you! The highlight for me, without a doubt was the chance to do a lap on Silverstone! That was too cool for words! Will post some pics as soon as I have a chance to recuperate and work on them.

 

I agree on the track run! I needed windscreen wipers on my glasses to wipe away the tears!

Must say it was far better than MU 2007 in Zaandfort
The weather was absolutely brilliant, makes a change for the UK
Track drives, go karting, Paul Weller etc all brill.
Iwas lucky enough to have won a infield parking spot via the competition on MU web site Park and show.
The icing on the cake was that I also won a MINI 50 th Trophy
It was for the best MINI with the most OEM x accerories

I also got back a couple of days ago. I had a great time! MINI USA took great care of us the entire time. We got an event bag with neato trinkets inside, free wifi, free food and drinks in the VIP tent, we got to meet Mike Cooper, we got him to autograph a MINI history book, ask him questions, take photos with him, and the track drive. Yes, the track drive! I had my buddy, HWS, the 84 year young fella with the 2002 MINI with over 330,000 miles on it in the hot chocolate diesel Clubbie. I intentionally picked that vehicle to check it out. It is no S, but I'm happy with the performance. Acceleration falls off rapidly before 5k RPM but the fuel mileage is astronomical, even with me driving it on the racetrack like I was. I kept on telling the other US attendees that all of the above for just $50 bucks. Of course, that included the entire event with about bagillions of MINIs/Minis. Oh, and great weather to boot!

I was there !!!! It was excellent !!! 2500km in one week... Geneva to Wissant (France), then Oxford, Silverstone and Buckingham...

I meet JBCola and TRex... it was so nice !!! But I probably saw other people... at Silverstone or during the Factory tour, the 22nd at 10:30...
