Well, after discussing it with the CINC (wife) for the past few months, we have decided to go ahead and buy another MINI. We put our order in yesterday for a JCW Clubman. Today, we got our order confirmation and a tentative build date of 18 Aug! So we should be a 2 MINI family by the beginning of Sept!

BTW, we were the first ones to put our order in for a JCW Clubman through Pentagon. Got a hell of a deal compared to the MINI configurator on MINI.com.

The wife wanted Pepper White so that is what she got. Along with the black roof and C pillars and black sport stripes. Should be pretty awesome!

 

If daughter had any input, I'm betting BRG!

Who gets to drive it? No super-charger -- probably the wife, right?

 

Yea it will be wife's car...I will get to drive it though!! LOL! Lacee thinks it will end up being her college car when the time comes though. I think she might end up being correct!

 

Nice...I love the Clubman. Thinking about getting one myself in a couple years.

 

You know at first I wasn't too impressed with it, then I started looking at it a bit more and it grew on me. We test drove an S the other day at Pentagon and it was definitely not like driving my MCSC but it was very nice and put a smile on face all the same, just did it in a different way. I think we are going to love the new JCW Clubman. I can't hardly wait for it to get here.

 

IIRC the Clubman turns a faster lap on teh Hockenheimring as well... A lot like my frind's Civic Si--the longer wheelbase makes it more stable.

 

91, you should have seen the look on her face when I suggested that the two of them take the two Minis to the ring for some laps together -- she just about fell out of her chair!
