Im going to pick up my baby TOMORROW !!!
I promise not to enjoy the speed limit, already got my first warning
I was only going 5 over and got busted, and that was in a rental
Dont know what the first mod is goint to be, thinking its time to go low, as there are no speed bumps over here to worry about.
And definately some tint, actually that will probably be the first after I figgure out how much its going to cost to register over here.

Koni's, man, Koni's!
They have been on my list of "wouldn't it be great to...." for as long as I can remember. Almost did them as my first mod. The catch was that, to do it right, I'd also want to do the tires - ditch the run flats. I'll probably wait until that horrible day when I am assigned to the US....

MINI is home !!!
After about a 250 mile road trip back to the house from New Orleans.
He is parked outside my building, no damage durring transit, just needs a bath.
Only downside is my window doesnt look at the parking lot
The drive was great !!! He whined and Growled all the way home.
Now its time to start him back up and go for another drive

2 days and I got my first ticket
thought I was in the 55 and sped up turns out I was still in a 45 and the cop was sitting about 50 Ft before the 55 sign ( sneaky sneaky ) didnt even see him as he was in the back of a parking lot.
Oh well, I did get complimented on my car though, even the cops like the MINIs but not enough to get out of a ticket
Final thoughts ... Speed limits suck

Great news... Twiggy made it saftley to America !!! I am reunited with all the urges to drive it. Unfortunatly, there are speed limits, rude drivers, and traffic, not to mention the lack of twisties.
At least Twiggy still has her good looks.
And to answer the questions... Yes it still runs off of 220v, however the gas here is only 93 so I have a bit of performace decrease. Oh and yea, the NAV still works great, no reprogramming... for those with NAV.
Now its off to wash and shine her up... next weekend.
