Believe me Rudy I feel all your pain.
I was able to find some decent twisties, well more like wiggles
best part was it was all gravel so lots of sliding and drifting !!
Glad to hear Twiggy is ok, Ill let you know when I end up over your way

You could drive down U.S. 13 to 421 at Spivey's Corner. The roads are 2 lane and a little wiggly, just watch out for tractors and tobacco wagons. Too bad you didn't get your Mini last month, you could have caught the National Hollerin' Contest up thar. Yee-haw!

I miss my friends, all of you, and of course I miss the pure twisties Germany had to offer. The roads here are all straight, and when I think its going to be a good bend, it's just a wiggle.
Just remember to give me a "holla" down east style when your in my area... In the mean time, I'll be forever searching for good twisties and roads...

Is anyone still in Germany? All I have seen for a while is where you had to go and only one got to keep his MINI.
Remember I ride the good roads through you guys
I have met up with the Local MINI club, and by local I mean only 200 miles to Baton Rouge where the closest dealer is.
Hope you all are still motoring, and having a blast. If Im lucky someday Ill be back over there where motoring is fun, instead of a lesson in paranoia.
Every time I find a decent road it is crawling with small town cops that cant wait to give anyone a ticket.
5 MPH over will get you pulled over, cops are nice though. Got great compliments when he was handing me the ticket, only time I didnt want to talk about the MINI

I think that a lot of us are still out running around. I am down in Italy right now and have been running the Dolomites ragged. It is really nice up there. However, I will be heading out to meet with Abu very soon. There is just a lot going on right now and everyone is spread out. That being said, we miss you guys too. I hope that all is going well.

Flying Smiles... hey... I know the feeling during this curveless drought we are experiencing. I miss the "simple" life of Germany and the roads were I am not constantly on the look out of professional donut eaters who have nothing better than to make a quick buck.
Any chances of you going to MINI's Slay the Sleeping Dragon in November ? Here is the link...

Maybe we can show some of the locals how to drive German Style... The one thing I miss the most though is Nurburgring. Never take that for granted...

Smiley, you need to go. And mount a camera. I haven't seen a decent video of someone laying waste to their parking brake and drifting through the whole Dragon . The world needs to see that video, Smiley, and you need to make it.
Hopefully, daflake will make it out this way soon, and will bring his car. Not that there's anywhere to drive, mind you.....

Its been quite some time ago... If memory serves me correct... When I originally ordered the MINI, it came with a DVD of just Germany. Later I went to a MINI meet and "acquired" a copy of the entire Europe DVD from DaFlake.
I do have the USA version which fell into my lap, courtesy of the internet. Its an older 2007. Although I am wondering if a certain DaFlake wouldn't happen to accidentally make a backup copy and send it in the mail to a certain RudyT... who's real identity is the Stig...
