just installed the innovate motorsports LC-1 Wideband Controller

I finally installed the Innovate Motorsports Lc-1 wideband ecu with the x-16 gauge kit. needless to say the install was a bit of a pain because the mini is so cramped with space. the O2 bung was welded in 180 degrees from the upstream stock O2 sensor for proper location. i mounted the x-16 gauge to the dash next to the left center air vent and the spedo.
first impressions are that this set up reacts very quickly with no delay in reading a/f readings! very impressed! this is the best system for 399.99 i've installed yet. and it reads from 10 to 1 to 20 to 1 AFR's.
So i took the mini out for a test drive and noticed from 4k to redline at WOT i am running lean! afr's around 12.9 to 13.3 to 1. crap! this is with stock ecu maps and 380cc injectors! see my sig for all my mods. lucky i only run 100 octane in my mini. so if you have similar mods beware you will be running lean and if you run crappy 91 octane this spells trouble. BTW the mini s makes best power at 11.5 to 11.8 to 1 AFR's .looks like i will need to be fiddling with my SAFCII to richen things up and make more power.

John-
I picked one up for my car this past week. I am not gonna install until I do the turbo as it is just too much work, and the DP is being replaced anyway!

Really surprised at your AFRs though. Last time I dyno'd I ran <12 across the whole band, and that was a post-cat sniffer so it actually in theory should be about 1 point richer given the cat sucking up that unburnt fuel. Guess I will see sone though.

BTW, if you are interested in seeing how my install goes, just drop me a PM. Starting it on the 2nd of April. Should be picking up most of the kit from the Fireballed guys this Friday at Mynes as they are in town for the NOPI stuff at Firebird.
