Cigarete lighter jack in back switched power??

Is the wires leading into the cigarette lighter in the boot switched power? I was wondering because I was going to use them as an LED power source.

Thanks

Yes the key is required to power the cigarette lighter in the back, it runs off of the same fuse and power source as the one in the front.
