Multi-function mirror & rain sensor wiring

Does the wiring exist regardless of whether you have the convenience package or not?

I don't know about the rain sensor wiring, but the wiring for the multi-function mirror is there. At least on 05 & 06 MINI's.

As Crashton says, Yes, for at least the 05 and 06.

But it is not as simple as just buying the parts and plugging them in. The BC-1 computer needs to be programmed by the dealer and their could (but I doubt it) be other 'issues'...

pay for 24 hours access ($25) and download all the pdf's from www.minitechinfo.com from bmw.

Don't know what your plan is, but if you are retrofitting, please post the results of your efforts.

Good luck!

The mirror is just a plug & play.

We're dealing with an '06. Madhatter, are you saying that the rain sensor wiring exists too?

This is a retrofit. If the rain sensor wiring also exists, I'm probably going with the BMW rain sensor that attaches to a standard windshield.
