for those who feel nervous that in maybe rare circumstances the extra current draw from the 2 extra taillight bulbs could blow the BC1 module and then have to deal with the dealer, just replace the 2 regular stock incandescent orphan bulbs with an pair of LED bulbs....very easy to do and not too expensive.....see posts #8 thru #12 above for sources

Me too. I did it in November 2002 on my September 2003 build 03 MCS. Absolutely NO problems either.
