Is anyone aware if retrofitting the rain sensor option is possible?

 

Anything is possible - it just depends on how much $$ you want to spend .

At the very least - you will need the rain sensor & trim, wiring harness, "rain sensor" windshield, and maybe the wiper stalk with rain sensor switch. Plus labor to install it all. Oh, and you will probobly have to have the dealer turn that option on in the computer ( it seems like everything has a link to the computer ).


I have the rain sensor on my 04 MCS - it is ok, but here in Phoenix I hardly ever use it. Most of the time I accidently leave it ON and when it I wash it.....it turns on automaticly. Gotta love it

I have seen advertised and aftermarket one for BMWs. I'm not sure it would work or not. Bavauto (.com) has it in their print catalog, but I can't find it on their site.
