I think I saw a picture of a mini with this in a car mount, or a PDA with add on GPS, wondering how good it is. The reviews are good, seems most of the stock is refurbished (with an internal battery, I wonder how that goes). But at $250 with such nice integration between PDA and GPS, it seems like a cool toy.

I use the iQue. You'll need a good-sized SD memory card (like 1 GB) to hold the maps, data - unless you want to keep loading new data according to your travel plans. Battery life is ... well, poor, so be sure you plan on a 12V power source. Garmin offers a sort of bean-bag mount for the dash that works OK and includes a separate speaker; it allows you to locate the unit for a decent view of the sky, though I use an external antenna. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I use it too, actually haven't used in the MINI yet, but have used in my other car and I am very pleased with it. Highly recommend a 1GB or even 2GB card to hold the maps, so you don't have to resync them often... Definitely get the auto kit with either the bean bag mount or the windshield mount... This one talks too...
