I installed 2 of the MCAW circuits this weekend at MITM (and 2 of Ian's circuits).
Of the 2, I think I prefer the MCAW for ease of seating the plug in the back of the switch panel, and Ian's for attaching to the cable to the rest of the car.
I had no idea how to program the MCAW (neither owner had the destructions with them), but on the 2nd one, immediately after installing the board, the up button for the driver's window stopped working. I removed the board and went back to stock and had the same thing. The only way we could get the drivers window to go up was to use the "close everything" functionality of the cabrio controls. It seemed like a busted/burned out switch to me. It's possible I broke something on the back of the switch panel when I was installing, but this is the 1st problem I've had in about 20 installs.

It sounds mechanical to me. Bent pin on the back of the switch panel or perhaps a broken trace on the PCB inside the switch panel.

There is a programming video for the basic circuit available online. The Deluxe board is almost identical except you roll the windows up to enter programming mode, whereas with the basic circuit, you roll the windows down to enter programming mode.

Regards-
Randy

The switches and circuit board are pretty simple. I would disassemble it and see if you can spot what is broken. Logically, from installing the circuit you may have pulled the pin off the board and may need to resolder it. Have a look around Ian's Gallery, I know he has photos of the disassembled switch panel and board in there.

Well, the car is now in Texas, I'm in Las Vegas and the attempted install was in Colorado. I've never even removed the downtubes on any of the installs I've done.
