My wife is getting me a BT handsfree kit for Christmas. I am torn between the 3100 and the 3000 Evo. Any recommendations for or against either of these units?

I have the Evo and so far, so good. I didn't really want the extra bulk of the display unit and the voice reco in the Evo is good enough for me. The only problem is that the Evo is not firmware upgradable over BT while the 3100 is.
