you would still have back up lights with those if you have a 05. The 02-04 have the Fog light brake and turn in the cluster, since the 05 fog is below in the bumper you can just put the reverse in the top or middle and the turn in the other. Problem solved!

Where did you get that 2nd picture? i dont see it on there site. BTW i noticed there are 3 styles of those lights. The LED ones, then theres the standard bulb ones in smoke and chrome. The LED only comes in Chrome and its 38,000 yen not 31,500

For those above who had problems with illumination using LED's in the tails I would say this was due to 2 issues. First you are using a red LED in a red lenses. This is gonna make the brightness significantly less. Also I think you need to use one of the 32 bulb tower assemblies shown above from autoluminations.com.

Finally you can use the 02-04 setup as I wrote earlier. Here's what to do:
1-Buy the sets from outmotoring.com
2-Buy 2 clear/white LED 32 bulb 1156 towers from autoluminations.com
3-Buy 2 amber LED 32 bulb 1156 towers as well
4-You will need dual function LED for the brake/running lights. I don't know for sure if autoluminations sells these or not.
5-Remove the soldered in standard bulbs from the assemblies you have purchased from outmotoring.com
6-replace these with the clear in the top position, ambe rin middle position and red in lower position.
7-Plug in the wiring harness and secure to car.
8-Test lighting
9-Enjoy or not.

My experience is the clears are gonna be way brighter than standard clear reverse lights but the ambers and reds may or may not be. Your DOT issues may vary. Do it if you want, don't if you are worried about being legal.

Joel
Joel, how do you like them so far? I use the 32 Matrix 2 Superwhites in all the rears and 24 amber for the front and it suite me just great. What's this about the "soldered in" bulbs? Do you prefer the "tower" as opposed to the "matrix"?
