This is all good info for me as I'm new to mini. My 05 doesn't have HID lights in them just regular factory lights. Question:

After reading this thread what would one suggest the best replacement "bulbs" are to get just to replace the low and high beams? Are they seperate or one bulb?

My boyfriend had a 99 M3 and his lights were seperate, he had HID projector lights for the lows and just Osram Silverstars for the highs.

He had 4500k HID lights. As they were the best for visibility. Sure 6000-10000k HID lights may look cool but 4500k has the most "Lumens" possible.

After about 6000k HID's visibility is a factor.

What are some bulbs I can buy that are simular to 4500k BRIGHT WHITE?

Thanks.

What are the parking lights, and what is the PIAA number for the brighter white parking lights? I have the xenons, and the parking lights look yellow compared to the headlights.... (Or does anyone know of another option?)
