adding auxiliary power outlet

I wanted to add a power outlet in the euro shelf area and thought I could use an add-a-circuit. My present power outlet is on row 2 #32 which is 15 amp. Add-a-circuit is limited to 10 amps. What am I missing here?

If you use the aux outlet to power or charge things you'll be fine. VERY few things besides the cig lighter will draw anything close to 15 Amps. If you're not planning on plugging a heater or power tool (not to charge but to power) in there you'll be well within 10 amps.

So, where can I connect...anywhere a 10 amp circuit is located?

Not really. Depending on what you will power you either want it switched (goes on when the key is in positon 2 or running) or unswitched. I am not near a manual right now but there is a legend inside the cover of the fuse panel that may be of some help. The good thing about the Add-A-Fuse is that it is a simple matter to change it if you pick the worng one.

I also have the Euro Tray, but because the plugs of my radar detector and G-Force computer have functions on them, I did not wanted to place them out of sight. This is what I came up with, in case it might be helpful to you:

One thing you'll find is that at least on the '05s there are no switched 10 amp circuits. You'll need to use a 5 amp circuit if you want switched power. I've got mine connected to F10
