A real life NCS Dummy needs help with option coding
I have gotten my cable to read and write back settings to the body control module, but only a few of them actually got applied. I have auto-up on both windows, and managed to get the sunroof out of remote comfort open via the unlock button, but a lot of other changes did not seem to affect the way the car behaves:
Euro hazards
Auto locking adjustment 12mph --> 16mph
Comfort open via key in door
Comfort closing via key lock button remote WORKING NOW
Lock acknowledgement blinks adjusted from 1 --> 3 blinks
Unlock acknowledgement blinks adjusted from 0 --> 2 blinks
Will post my MAN file if someone can help me understand what I did wrong....

coded off all the warm and cold bulb tests. not sure how to test that. i guess putting in LED tail light bulbs would test those. need to get some. i guess i can get some LED bulbs at o'reilly and test the auto lock speed also.

Pretty sure something is FUBAR with my NCS Dummy installation or config. I don’t get the checkboxen or any of the file functions in the bottom of the app besides the first one.
Have been using it for translation and explanation only, and copying the TRC file extracted by NCS Expert and renamining it to MAN, with txt extension initially so Notepad will open it, editing settings for stuff, and saving as MAN file without txt extension. There's so many different sets of instructions for the installation that don't entirely agree.
AdrianCL helped me get INPA and the cable installed correctly, so I am pretty certain that is correct. My DATEN for R50 is from 2015, car is 2003, so that should be ok. Ran the LADEN.bat file. Not sure what else there is that I may have missed.

@joe_bfstplk Have you had any issues with Cruise Control after installing LED lights?
After Installing LED Brake light Bulbs, my Cruise Control Randomly shuts off lol.

In the dearth of responses here, I turned to ChatGPT to help get my NCSDummyband NCSExpert working, and to get the options that were possible to move from my want list to the car's config up and running. Got speed on the tach's BC display now, along with the oustde temp, range to empty, average fuel consumption, and average speed thatvwere already turned on there. Hoping to get instantaneous fuel consumption added, if it is possible. There's a setting for it, but it may depend on other settings elsewhere, as turning it to 'activ' has not worked so far. Got auto-up working for both windows (score!!!). Turned off comfort open on the sunroof so it only tips up and down with one touch now. No joy on the euro double-flash hazard lights or the single touch lane change turn signals. Also no luck setting the auto lock for the doors to come on at 24 km/hr instead of 16.
