R53 coding for front and rear fog lights

Hi

I installed the factory front fog lights and bought the center switch that includes the front and rear foglight switches. Everything is installed correctly, but I have to recode so the switches for the fog lights work. I heard you can do this with an Autel scanner, but I've looked everywhere on the internet on how this is done and I'm out of ideas.

Can anyone give me some guidance on this?

Thanks!
Juan

INPA + NCSExpert/NCSdummy is the only way I've ever done it. I've never heard of a third party scanner that can do coding, but I haven't looked very hard either.

All of the scanners I’ve seen that are able to code options were limited to 2nd gen and newer. The coding was also limited and might have been the same, or slightly more than the options which could be done through the onboard diagnostic/coding menus on the cars themselves.

I've given up trying to do this myself. Is anyone in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin area that can code this for me? I am willing to go to you and pay you for your time.

And time is critical since I'm going to be selling the car on Tuesday.

Thanks in advance!

Touch base with "adriancl" on this forum. He remote tunes members' Minis but I'm pretty sure he can help you out with coding.
