Hi I was thinking about relocating my coolant reservoir to near my air box and getting an air intake relocation kit from airifix to where my coolant reservoir is now. To install the intake relocation I would need to delete my maf sensor. Is that at all possible and how do I do it?
I believe that the MAF sensor provides one of the most critical signals to the ECU, determining fuel system behavior. I assume you are not planning on running a carburetor.

So no.
Cheers,

is there a way I can run the intake relocation kit with the maf system then?

also the uk version of r56’s don’t have a maf sensor how do they work without it? Sorry I don’t know much about the r56 as I just got it a month ago and am trying to learn everything about it
You don’t need to worry about a cold air intake on this car, just a free flowing intake. A bugger intercooler will be more beneficial for intake temperature.
